Agree at the “Covenant of Mayors Investment Forum – Energy Efficiency Finance Market Place”

Agree took part in the Covenant of Mayors Investment Forum – Energy Efficiency Finance Market Place (COMIF-EEFMP) this week.

During the event, the consortium highlighted the key points and progress of the project, and shared innovations and achievements to foster change at local level with the other participants.

The Covenant of Mayors Investment Forum – Energy Efficiency Finance Market Place  is held annually; since 2018, it has showcased success stories in energy efficiency finance, climate adaptation and innovative energy planning, along with initiatives that are working throughout Europe to facilitate the finance market for climate and sustainable energy.

This year’s event focused on successful projects financed as part of the LIFE Clean Energy Transition and Horizon 2020 programmes, and particularly the H2020 Energy Efficiency sub-programme. Projects financed by BEI ELENA, the LIFE Climate programme and initiatives such as the Smart Cities Marketplace were also in the spotlight

The forum gathers together cities, financial institutions and other stakeholders to share best practices and successful solutions for challenges in common. The event is organised by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Energy, its Directorate-General for Climate Action and the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency  (CINEA), in conjunction with the Covenant of Mayors.
